Boet Badenhorst was a mighty man of God in the widest sense of the statement. He spent his life bringing glory to the Name of the Lord God Almighty without neglecting his marriage, his children or his work. He was and always will be an example to very one that wants to follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

In his gentle way he reached people that was deemed unreachable by others - he never gave up hope. That is why oom Boet was nicknamed: the old crocodile.

It was an indescribable privilege to give recognition to this great man of God by ordaining him in ministry even at that late stage of his life

Magdel  knew oom Boet for 42 years and myself, more that 33 years as a man with utmost integrity and an unquenchable love for our Lord.  He led Magdel's parents and later Thys' parents to the Lord as well as many, many others.

For many years oom Boet served the Lord in the UAFC - United Apostolic Faith Church - with past Leonard R. Brooke.  Even on holiday oom Boet shared the gospel; he grabbed every opportunity with both hands.  He never claimed any glory for himself, even to the end.

As a father he taught his children and grandchildren well and was a father to many young men and women.  Honesty and integrity was outstanding principles in his life and ministry. Past Pieter and past Anserie Badenhorst that are both with FCCA-Int (Pieter as an honourary member) and examples of his fatherhood and love.

Oom Boet, we will miss you as we race towards the end.

With love,

Thys and Magdel and the FCCA-Int team
