Are you REALLY saved...

Are you born again?

Do you believe in the Bible? The book called the Gospel of John, chapter 3 tells us about a conversation between Jesus Christ and a Jewish leader called Nicodemus… It says:

"There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher coming from God; for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him. Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered. "Most assuredly, say to you, unless one is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God…"

Jesus explains to Nicodemus (a Pharisee - equivalent to a modern day Preacher) that no human being could ever enter God's kingdom unless that person has been re-born by the Holy Spirit. (Means your spirit must be re-generated and joined to God's Spirit.)

Not money or good deeds or even a good life will help you to ever enter heaven one day…ONLY faith in Jesus Christ and the willingness to submit to His love can bring you eternal life…John chapter 3 verse 16 says, "For God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." By believing in Jesus Christ your life gets re-born by the Holy Spirit, which leads you to the kingdom of God!

If you should die today, what would your destiny be? Heaven or Hell…? Too many people today so easily call themselves "Christians" but Jesus Himself warns us in Matthew 7 verse 21, "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who DOES the WILL of My Father in heaven…."

The steps to follow…
CONFESS your SIN (1 John 1:8)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
REPENT - turn away from your old life. (Acts 3:19)
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
Repentance is not something that is done only once when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior; It must be done continuously, because we are still human and are in need of forgiveness DAILY!
BELIEVE IN JESUS - as the only Saviour (Romans 10:9)
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
INVITE HIM - into your life (Revelation 3:20)
Behold, I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
RECEIVE HIM…(Ephesians 1:13)
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

PRAISE GOD! - YOU ARE NOW RE-BORN AND A MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY!
