Father led us to start a hospital care ministry that will assist and train those that are called to minister to the sick in our hospitals.
Unfortunately this ministry is currently active only in South Africa.
If you are called to minister to the sick you can apply for membership and ordination to work under a covering that will support you. We will work with other groups already functioning in hospitals and not be opposition to them.
We will expect that all our members will adhere to hospital rules and that they will allow the staff to care for the patients.
We have experience wonderful miracles in ministering to the sick. During January we will add the testimonies of some of our members on this page.
Hospital Care Ministry was launched in 2011 when we realised that there are a urgent need for anointed men and women to minister to those in need in the hospitals.
On 18 February the Elders Board appointed Danie Joubert as the Chairperson responsible for Hospital Care Ministry. Danie is very active in ministering in Steve Biko Academic Hospital and the hospital staff often calls him when there is a need.
We invite ministers to contact us to join us in the calling to pray for the sick.
While Thys was in hospital for 7 months during 2009, he was minitered to by Gideon and Louis. Their encouragement and prayers was so wonderful.

We offer the opportunity to become part of the Hospital Care Ministry and will shortly be able give training and support to ministers that want go to hospitals and aid facilities to go and minister to people in need.
- This will only allow pastors to give pastoral support to people.
We also off a training course to people that have a calling to care for the sick and to encourage them in the difficulty they experience.
- Only qualified counselors may counsel people in any situation or on any level. Pastors with the Hospital Care Ministry card are not automatically qualified to counsel people.
- Every minister takes full responsibility of his action. We do not take reasonability for the actions or behavior of ministers.
Hospital protocols must be followed to work with the hospital staff and receive their support in our efforts to help and comfort people.
